Acupuncture massage has been used for thousand of years and employs Traditional Chinese Medical theory (TCM). This theory describes special acupoints or acupressure points that lie along the channels/meridians in your body which are targeted with acupuncture through inserting sterile needles at specific acupoints to access the meridians. When one of the meridian is blocked or out of balance, illness results. Acupuncture massage uses fingers, palms, elbows or special devices to apply pressure to acupoints on the body's meridians. The goal of acupuncture massage is to restore health and to provide balance to the body's channels of energy.
